DETAILS

42% alpaca, 30% cotton, 28% wool

Cosy chunky knit scarf staple with botanical dye. The Maison has hand-knitted 100% recycled natural fibres such as cotton, wool and alpaca to create a more sustainable blend. It is then botanically dyed. To guarantee dyes all year round, chestnut, solidago and mimosa have been selected creating a muted watercolour tone, which may fade over time. This reflects the ephemeral beauty of plants. The Maison's four-stitches moniker adorns the back. Gauge 3. Made in Italy.

ABOUT

Maison Margiela

Maison Margiela is a luxury haute couture house founded on ideas of nonconformity by Belgian designer Martin Margiela in 1988. The brand embraces creativity rooted in authenticity, community, and self-expression, focusing on the relationship between clothes and how they are worn. Now under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, the Artisanal atelier challenges tradition by reinterpreting and repurposing past elements into new forms. This process creates a dialogue between past and present, emphasizing individuality and authenticity.
