ABOUT

Maison Margiela

Maison Margiela is a luxury haute couture house founded on ideas of nonconformity by Belgian designer Martin Margiela in 1988. The brand embraces creativity rooted in authenticity, community, and self-expression, focusing on the relationship between clothes and how they are worn. Now under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, the Artisanal atelier challenges tradition by reinterpreting and repurposing past elements into new forms. This process creates a dialogue between past and present, emphasizing individuality and authenticity.
